Tracked Centauro finished.
All comments welcome, they only make me a better modeler.

Very nicely done there.

My first comment would be, "Are you trying to make me quit building models!?!"

Really some great work on display here.  The weathering is top notch, and something that I struggle with on my builds.  Yours is realistic without being overdone.

Knitting is out, so I guess I'm taking up stamp collecting...

+1 to all previous kudos.

I think I'll pack up my brushes, break out my belly button lint collection and re-catalog it.

That came out beautiful! The only mistake is that you used Diehl 570F tracks instead of the Diehl 464C light-weight tracks which were standard on the tracked Centauro. This is a grave mistake and you should go back and fix it or you won't have an accurate model.

Oh wait, this isn't Armorama? Never mind...

Just a quick question, mate: What'd you pinch the running gear & tracks from? ???

The lower hull / treads are from the HobbyBoss Swedish Strv. 122, was lucky the Centauro hull was just a little more narrow then the lower hull. Just glued it on and filed it flush, the tricky part was changing the drive to the front, did not get the proper tension on the tracks.

Yeah, what he said ^

The proportions for a tracked vehicle work out very well for this conversion.  As if the Italians had something planned like that from the start.

I am hoping the turret from my Centauro will fit on an M41 Walker hull without too much work.

Excelent idea and realization.
