Hi all here's a challenge for you can you guess what this will be
Just to be fair I will give you a clue. Its not going to be a pot plant base cut at the bottom and stuck to a piece of board at a jaunty angle.

The base of the flame part of the statue of Liberty - & there will be a figure, possibly but not necessarily wearing a loin cloth & carrying stone-age tools, looking up at it. ???

Naw, I don't think so.  I remember the series, saw it as a teen when it originally aired (and acquired the paperback novels based on it), and that's the wrong shape for their "rings".

I am looking forward to seeing what this does become, given the forum it's posted to.  My own guess is a crashed "saucer" of some kind, whether human or alien (cf. C-57-D from Forbidden Planet), though, partially "buried like that, it definitely fits the description of a Stargate.
