Matchbox Lightning T55 kit
Starboard side, as the USAF might have used it.  Falcon missile.

Same model, port side - as the US  Navy might have used it.  Sidewinder missile

Next a Varible Geometry proposal for the FAA that never left the drawing board

until now

Two sets of wings, changed at lunchtime, can really make people scratch their heads at model shows.

Next a Matchbox Lightning T55, as if the RAF used them on their return.
This side 11 Squadron, desert scheme.

And this side 5 Squadron Arctic camo.

Finally an Airfix F1a Lightning.  Well the fuselage upper with a Matchbox belly. Other projects used all the other bits.
Forward swept wings laminated from plasticard, and white scheme reminiscent of the TSR-2 prototype.

Great!
And have you considered a twin-rocket version without the nose air-intake?

All so creative  :)
The starboard-port different markings is cool way  8) to show two looks with one model.
Swing wing looks right and change wing is super clever.  Must remember that for a swing wing build.
Forward swept wing could be RW tresearch test bird.

Those are some of the coolest E.E. Lightnings to come along in a while!

I especially like the U.S. Navy version. Those markings look perfect for it!
