I visited Hangar 7 in 2010 and it's a pretty posh place.

Unless things have changed since I visited, I think you'd need to make some sort of special arrangement beforehand to visit Hangar 8 as I asked and was told quite bluntly that Hangar 8 did not host visitors.

At the time I visited, the Hangar 7 floor was taken up by some F1 and rally cars along with the B-25 Mitchell (the high point of the visit for me), Stearman, Cessna Caravan, Huey Cobra and BO-105. Four Alpha Jets were sitting on the apron between Hangars 7 and 8.

Here's a few pics I took during my visit:

Looking longingly across the apron to Hangar 8...

You mean my status as BTS Führer is not enough?  I would think they should be inviting me...

I enjoy visiting museums .... but I'd rather not visit an Advert :(

It's not a museum, it's a private collection. Red Bull own, and more importantly, operate
the aircraft so can mark them any way they please. Frankly their P-38 is the most beautiful example
of that aircraft, only trumped aesthetically by the original XP-38 prototype.

Some of the Red Bull markings look pretty good IMO.   Some of them are a bit overwhelming as well.  Yes, they are their property but a little more subtlety often doesn't go astray, despite what Adverting hacks might prefer to believe.

I like the P-38, it looks very nice in the polish metal with the small Red Bull.  The Cobra looks pretty good with the big Red Bull.  I suppose it all depends on how well it's done.   I think they went overboard with the Vixen but again that's just my personal taste.
