Another loooong ongoing build that missed the Apocalyptic build here.
In any apocalyptic situation it get down to the survivors finding stuff to help them.. well, survive. I reckon that widespread failure of Evacuation points/camps would leave some military vehicles around for the taking. Now one that appeals to me as a candidate is the Bushmaster PMV.
It is roomy, plenty of storage, has armoured protection and can pack ordinance. Fuel would be available and really it is just a truck after all so not too difficult to operate.
But of course in the Zombie Apocalypse world.. you have to modify stuff to make it more efficient in a zombie filled world and also against possible rival Salvager bands.
My take on a Zombiemaster after the salvagers add their must have stuff.
Using the 1/35 Showcase Bushmaster
Additions to interior.. strip out unneccesary seating to make room for stuff.

Necessary additions.. zombie plough and suspension protection

Finished deal.. add Flamethrower and stores

Looking for the worn, faded type finish almost there .. but not quite. Spotted some touch ups that need doing as well

Don't know why but that makes me think of a Bushmaster based Winnebago or RV. Mmmm...... I wonder how long until bushies become available as defence surplus.
