So why might you think i need these two kits ? Why would they go together ?  ;)

Now considering this will also be my first Vacform kit... (Although not my first multi material kit)

I would say as long as you realize its a challenge you are ok. I would be worried if you said "hey no problem!"  ;D

I've heard that, if it had gone into production, the P.1121 was to have re-cycled the name "Hurricane".  Since you're using parts from a "Typhoon", it seems doubly appropriate here.

Well courage wolf told me to do it... So the dremel came out to play..

Ive either gone for it and started or just ruined two perfectly good kits... Time will tell eh !?  :)
