Scalespokes (http://www.scalespokes.com/) is a new product line that is being produced and made available through UMM-USA by John Vojtech.  Mr. Vojtech is if you remember the guy that built the 1:72nd scale Testor's B-2 Stealth Bomber and added in some fantastic details.  It seems this same attention to small details is being continued with Mr. Vojtech's new Scalespokes line of wire wheels for WW1 aircraft models in the following scales:

1:144th scale (http://www.scalespokes.com/product-category/aircraft/aircraft-wheels/1144/)
1:72nd scale (http://www.scalespokes.com/product-category/aircraft/aircraft-wheels/172/)
1:48th scale (http://www.scalespokes.com/product-category/aircraft/aircraft-wheels/148/)
1:32nd scale (http://www.scalespokes.com/product-category/aircraft/aircraft-wheels/132/)

Definitely some fantastic details but I should recommend strongly that you view the images of the wheels before you look at the prices. :)

The above items are available for sale through UMM-USA (http://www.umm-usa.com/)

Additional images of these wire wheels and rubber tires are also available at CyberModeler - Latest News from Scalespokes (http://www.cybermodeler.com/news/scalespokes.shtml#.URiG9vJoLng)

Prices may seem high, but are really quite good for what you get compared to spoke-wheels for 43rd cars.  For those WW1 aircraft that usually had exposed spokes this is the only way to go :) :)
