Attack Squadron Model Kits (http://www.attacksquadron.pl/en/) from Poland.
Some of their more recent offerings:
(http://www.armahobby.com/media/products/856fc4c92942fc2b9a5868bdcde0ae70/images/thumbnail/big_72_004_boxart_v2.jpg?lm=1382816498) (http://www.armahobby.com/us-navy-seabees-nl-pontoon-barge.html)
1:72nd scale U.S. NAVY Seabees Naval Lighter Pontoon Barge (kit number ASQ72004) (http://www.armahobby.com/us-navy-seabees-nl-pontoon-barge.html)

1:72nd scale RQ-7B Shadow UAV drone (kit number ASQ72012) (http://www.armahobby.com/rq-7b-shadow-uav.html)
Some of you will be more interested in the UAV kits but I am more inclined to appreciate their attempt to model a Navy Powered Lighter since it is a logistics subject. Wish it were in 1:35th scale instead of 1:72nd still nice to see something out of the ordinary.
***edit to fix links for the web page and items described.

Hope they'll do a MQ-8C when data becomes available. If they do, 'twould be nice if they also did a Bell 407 since the MQ-8C derives from it.

Attack Squadron have announced that a 1/48 K-Max is underway…yay!!

A new level of ugly has been achieved :)
-
Let us be grateful that Kelly Johnson and Igor Sikorsky were laid to rest long ago, or the horror of that bug-eyed egg-beater monstrosity would give them apoplexy.
-
I take it you guys have never heard the concept of sexy ugly?
-
ISTR the LAST time you went there, Greg, you got a rousing chorus of "Pass the Mind Bleach." :P
-
In terms of aircraft, the following are examples that fall into the sexy ugly category:
BV141
A-10
H.P.50 Heyford
And I would include the K-Max there as well.

Had a Heyford (just ugly, no sexy) kit out looking it over for bashing potential. Have a still ugly concept.
BV 141 - good as parts donor.

Don't tempt me... C:-)

Be glad you're not in meatspace... last dude who tried that in-person, I gave a piece of my mind by puking on his shirt. Or maybe it was the fish sauce they forgot to tell me about... LOL

Oh, a 'Tough Guy'…you're only going to make it worse for yourself…now I am digging for the "really bad" photos! C:-)

Hate to ruin the party Jeff, but, the K-Max aint' new, it's been flying since '91. ;)
Personally speaking I don't find it ugly, but then I don't find any aircraft design ugly. Are
some designs boring?, yes, ugly?, no.
-
Greg, like I said... really, I think it was a combo in that case of the subject in discussion at that time and the allergic reaction--not trying to present as a tough guy, and I was trying to play that retelling of the story for laughs.
If I were putting money on it, I'd say it was an allergic reaction to the fish primarily (I'm allergic to all seafood and somebody forgot to tell me that a dish at the potluck had fish-sauce in it), and this poor schlub just happened to both give the Straw That Broke The Camel's Back AND be standing in the wrong place at the wrong time, a "Perfect Storm" scenario. Either of those two hadn't been in play, and I think I probably woulda safely made it to the men's room for my un-load.
Hope that helps clarify things and keep the peace. :)

Response to my question from AttackSquadron:
Q:
As a follow on to your excellent 1/48 MQ-8B, how about a 1/48 MQ-8C? This could potentially be released as a dual MQ-8C/Bell 407 kit?
Reply:
Thank you for asking. It is being prepared for release after 1:72 sclae kit. so please stay tuned. Also Bell 407 is planned.
-
Funny. I'm biasing MY MQ-8C on the OH-58D/406 chassis. ;)
Stay tuned!

There are differences and, having worked on it, I can assure you that the MQ-8C is derived from the Model 407. Over and above all the antenna mounts, there are certain obvious external changes, one noticeable on the engine cowling and, of course, the considerable internal fuel tank it now has.

Some recent offerings from Attack Squadron:
1/72 and 1/48 AIM-9X Sidewinders
1/72 and 1/48 AGM-45 Shrike
1/72 and 1/48 AGM-88 HARM

MQ-8C model 1/72 scale goes into production in the coming days. (http://attacksquadron.pl/index.php/2014/06/mq-8c-3d-model-renders/?lang=en)

Going to be interesting if they can get on the fiddling little details of that fuselage and engine cowling in one piece. Definitely will have to buy one after working on the 1/1 version (not just CAD, "hands on" the first EMD one).

Coming soon: 1/48 Camcopter S-100:

Just found this mentioned on Aeroscale, I may have to scrape my pennies together and get the C-130 engines for a Quad Tilt Rotor project...
