Title: Dewoitine D.520 Ideas and Inspiration
Post by: GTX_Admin on November 26, 2012, 05:59:38 AM
Hi folks,

I have read how the Dewoitine D.520 was considered the rough equivalent of the Bf-109 and Spitfire.  However, whereas these two went on to be massively developed, the D.520 was stifled due to the defeat of France.  So what if this had somehow not occurred?  What if the D.520 had continued somehow (maybe in the UK or maybe French Canada?)?  What sort of developments can you see if the D.520 was developed alongside the Bf-109 and Spitfire?

Regards,

Greg

P.S. please feel free to also include other Dewoitine D.520 Ideas and Inspiration in this thread.

I have a Tamiya kit this close to taking its main paint....a USAAF test example taken out of Vichy Morrocco, tests (and service)  done on the US West Coast.  OD/NG.    It may be on the boards here by New Years.
