Lotz to select from.
Prices go from way low to way high.
Interesting to browse.
-
Some interesting Soviet stuff there...especially in the armoured vehicle lines.
-
Pricing are not that bad, actually.
When the new Amodel I-211/5/6 kits are released, it will be good to compare prices to the big H.
-
The website that is selling the Sowa stuff is one I have used quite a bit for the more obscure russian stuff, and including postage works out a hell of a lot cheaper than any other site I have ordered from

ModelsUA is a good vendor - he's pretty quick and uses the old Earl Martell method of flattening boxes to lower shipping costs.

550 pieces? Does the damn thing have individual compressor blades?

Most likely an indication that this is a LIMITED Production Run kit.

I think that is the way the European kits makers way of saying "limited run of only xxx kits"

This!
And AFAIK this doesn't necessarily mean that the kits are complete short-run kits. They can be from proper steel moulds. Just this particular boxing is only available in x units. Probably to save quite a few bucks during decal production. Between Amodel and Sova-M, they have about ten different boxings of the HP Jetstream.
Modelsvit has their boxings colour-coded:

;D
Mind you, if it was "Only 450 pieces" in a 1/72 kit, one almost gets into rivet counting when building... ;D

I had a similar idea. I was also thinking of an Australian Army Aviation green/brown/black wrap 'round cam...

I completely missed the Albatross. I may finally be able to get rid of that old Revell one.

I thought they were getting into the super-deformed model business... but it's a real boat:
Barrier Boat (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrier_Boat)
Still a strange choice for a model. 3"/80mm in 1/72

I wasn’t sure if it was an AI joke or what!
Now, how can we whiff this?
-
Maybe two torpedoes at the waterline, running at all times to give the boat some extra speed. I think even a 0.50 cal MG would be too much for that boat. It reminds me of a Benchy (a 3D filament printer test model):

That first pic is nuts! ;D

Yup. Simplest possible whif would be to just paint it yellow. 'Boom boats' are pretty common in these parts. (For dioramas, ensure that the boom boat is heeled over to a minimum of 35° and kicking up plenty of foam!)
If the boat's tiny size is a insurmountable issue in 1/72, there's always 1/1 ;)
