Ok, one for Mig Eater to complement his great idea for this GB
RakettenPanzer Mit Rottkapchen. This is an oldie from my stable, but still on the shelf

Dont have to be big to pack a punch and tank bust.

Oh wow so you made that RakettenPanzer, I've seen photos of it reposed in several different places and was wondering who made it

More ?

There was the Colombian conversion on an M8 armored car to a tank buster by adding a TOW system to the turret. They replaced the 37mm gun with a .50 cal mg.

The Finnish 95 S 58-61 (or 95mm Recoilles Rifle, designed 1958, with M1961 wheeled carriage).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/95_S_58-61
Austria did something similar with their 106mm M40 Recoiless Riflles to allow the weapon to be towed like a regular artillery piece behind a Jeep or similar size vehicle.
-
I’ve mentioned before about the US Army LtCol who told me about how he thought the 106mm RR should have been combined with the optics of the TOW system. I don’t know how that would work but an interesting whiff idea. Mount it on an M151 jeep or M998.
Then there was Da Vinci’s tank idea.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonardo's_fighting_vehicle
If it had worked (down hill with a tail wind I’m thinking) what kind of anti tank system would be needed to repel it. I’m thinking flame thrower to start with.

Anti-tank crews did a lot of moving the recolless rifle on foot (or skis). It was nicknamed "Musti" (Blackie), for its bark. Crews would talk about taking Blackie for walkies ;D
-
Possible idea open for copying if someone wants to:
ADF replaces their Land Rover series-2 anti-tank "gunbuggy" (fitted with a 106mm recoilless rifle)
With a "missile buggy version of the Land Rover Perentie (4 x 4 or 6 x 6), possibly fitted with something like a TOW missile.
So possible merge kits like the following:

and then do it in this scheme:

If you can put one in an M998 you can put one in a Land Rover or pretty much anything else.

Jamming isn't as complete as is made out. Plus they also use fibre optics and AI autonomous ones.
-
What happens when you jam their data links? The Russians are really good at that.
There are plenty of videos of Russian tanks getting blown up and the last thing you see in the FPV drone's images are the brand new Russian anti-jamming antennas (and these aren't fiber optics drones).
A lot of drones use basic on board "AI" (basically image recognition) to get to their targets even if the signal jamming is successful. A land based drone, with a larger payload capability could be even smarter.
-
There is another feature that has been around since the Boeing AGM-69 Short Range Attack Missile was available called "Home On Jam" so with miniaturization after fifty plus years later on that same feature could be included in these drone weapons to enhance lethality.
Almost a comedy; Comrade Ork keeps pushing the jammer button and all the while the cursed drone keeps tracking him and his vehicle while trying to evade the drone.
-
That’s the problem with any jamming system. It has to emit it’s own jamming signal to do its job. Just like radar. So it’s easy to home in on it.
-
Undated but looks 50's-ish. Probably a pair of 106mm recoilless rifles in a 'Hammerhead' TOW style turret.

The T8 37mm Gun Motor Carriage (https://warwheels.net/T8_37mmGMCindex.html) wouldn't have lasted more than a few seconds in combat. Shrapnel, pebbles, a large bug and the crew would be dead.
The observation version looks more survivable (https://warwheels.net/T2ObservationPostTenderINDEX.html):

Lots of armor suggestions here but what about some aircraft? Of course the A-10 is legendary but what about some others? There is a kit of the A-9 out there. Attack choppers anyone?

Howsabout a Chinese Nationalist Martin B-10 with a pair of 2cm Breda guns in the nose, B25H style? Good for ripping up Jap armor columns.

Might require (re)moving (?) the nose turret
https://frrom.com/index.php?page=frrom-fr0043-2
(https://frrom.com/images/FR0043_CamAp.jpg)
Same principle as the Italian Ba-88, with three 12.7mm machineguns in the nose.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breda_Ba.88_Lince
-
Interesting idea. Remove both the turret and the bomb-aimer's position and recontour the nose. Perhaps A Dutch East Indies version using a Bohler 4.7cm M32 anti-tank gun (or even 2 - at a combat weight of just over 600 pounds, the B-10 should have been able to heft two). If using only 1 Bohler, then perhaps supplement with a couple heavy machine guns?
Also, the Dutch had a lot more B-10-equivalents at their disposal than the Chinese.
Anti-tank guns were in short supply during the 1942 campaign, but this is WIF-world, so anything is possible.
-
B-10 is overdue for a day in kitbashing spotlight.
-
That's funny, Finsrin! You made a similar comment the last time I DID kitbash a B-10! (see: https://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=4927.msg80264#msg80264)
-

True, but the Chinese were the first to use them in combat.
The first to fly the aircraft in combat was the China Nationalist Air Force (Republic of China Air Force), which received a total of nine Martin 139WC aircraft (six being delivered in February 1937 and three in August 1937). At the time, it was the fastest bomber in China. When the Japanese initiated the Second Sino-Japanese War on July 7, 1937, the Chinese Martin bombers were called upon to defend China against the invading Japanese, serving in night bombing and maritime reconnaissance missions.

Yes - been long time, still applies.
Have cut plastic and mocked up modernized B-10. Nothing been glued. Maybe good for 'modernized' GB.

I know these guys are Soviets and that's a 14.5mm PTRS-41, but why does it make me think of some slick Norwegian movie coming out next year about Lithuanian veterans turned bank / armored car robbers in the free city of Danzig, circa 1947?
And they plan to escape with the Nazi gold across the Baltic in a salvaged & stripped E-boat.

Another idea: BAC Tankmaster. I have a BAC Jet Provost in my stash. Not sure why I bought it since I usually focus on WW2 subjects. Probably because it was inexpensive and the parts could be good wif-fodder.
Anyway, how about BAC creates a bargain basement specialized tank killer conversion of the Strikemaster by removing the right seat to make room for a big anti-tank gun, along with underwing stores? I'm thinking replace the Jet Provost's wide canopy with an assymetric single canopy and create gun space in the former right seat location. Maybe even a pair of 30mm DEFA or ADEN, or maybe something bigger, along with a pair of underwing anti-tank missiles?
Just musing at this point, but it could be fun.
