Title: Next GB Question
Post by: GTX_Admin on October 12, 2025, 03:17:10 AM
Folks,

Rather than run a whole new GB Poll, I am proposing that one of the runner ups from the last poll (http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=11465.0) be done as our next GB.  This gives us the 3 options shown in this poll.

Please vote (including if you don't like any of the options).  I have set the poll for a week and you can change your vote if need be.

I just had a mental image of a modified ARV or ABL with a giant hammer pivoted on top.

The finish your oldest project GB would have had me dig out the 1:48th scale Pucara I started decades ago. I carved molds and vacuformed the fuselage, engines and wings with extra parts filling in the rest. The clear canopy has turned brown by now. I have an Argentine decal sheet if it’s any good by now. I even included LED lights for nav markers. I’ve forgotten what voltage they ran on and if I apply too much it will burn them out so I’ve not attempted to see if they work.

You could still build this...as a tank buster variant.

I have a chonky resin conversion for the Panzer E-100 that I've been meaning to build. I already have two other E-100 tank destroyers on the shelf of doom tho, but why not add a third :P

I doubt I could finish it by the end of this GB! Which is a sad commentary……

Are profiles allowed as well as physical models?

I might go with the Thunderbear. I need some tiny footballs to use as under wing ordnance. I bet the jeweler department at Hobby Lobby has some. I have the decals from a sheet of fingernail decals. It will work in 1/72nd scale.
