I was asked to build a number of 1/56 GAZ-68 end of WWII wheeled SP vehicles, of which the real deal was proposed to be the successor to the SU-76, and after meeting the brief I indulged in a little whiffery in the form or a turreted arnoured car version.

The turreted armoured car looks better & more real than the SPG! 8)

Somewhere in my library, I've got an ancient Field Manual on the Soviet Army circa 1947. These look like they drove right off those pages.

Needs some crew with those swanky automatic rifles, tho (albeit 28mm for y'all)
