Armour - 1/35 Saladin, Saracen... (is there a Chaparral in 1/35?)

Saladin -- old & inaccurate Tamiya kit or 100%-good Accurate Armour resin kit.

Chaparral -- AFV Club plastic kit :)

Dear Airfix,
I'd like for you to release a proper 1/48 Sea Venom.   I'd like to do a Canadian one with Sidewinders and a pair of Sparrows.
Someday.

I'm fairly sure there was a 1/35th Saladin, by Tamiya or Fujimi, but it hasn't been re-popped for ages so it's pretty rare now.

There was but they go for silly money nowadays on EvilBay.  There is also a resin one by Accurate Armour which costs slightly less.

What we REALLY need is a 1/35 scale injection molded Object 279 Soviet tank, preferably announced by three different companies simultaneously! ;D

But seriously though, I note that since my last post in this thread way back in April 1012, the VK 30.02(DB) Panther prototype is now available as a 1/35 scale injection kit from Amusing Hobby. I also note that none of the US armor I mentioned (various members of the T20 prototype medium tank family) are available in 1/35 scale, save for the Commander Models resin T23 with VVSS. So, at the very least, I would still like to see 1/35 injection molded kits of the T23E3 (version with torsion bar suspension) and the T14 assault tank.

Heller did a 1/50 Super Frelon or one in 1/35 scale ---

Also a company called Mee did one and a Puma in 1/50.

I have one of the Heller 1:35th scale Super Frelon kits in the stash.  Used to have the 1:50th scale too but that has been disposed of.

One has to kitbash a DC-6 to approximate it.

Combat Models does one -- all for $39 (you get resin details too for an extra $15 )

It seems this group has pretty decent insight.   A quick scan of the 1/48 scale requests here now slated for production or have already been released are:   Tu-2, Javelin, Super Tucano, OV-10 series, AH-1Z, UH -1Y,  & Banshee.

Nice!

XP-67 Moonbat in styrene.
1/32, 1/48, 1/72   All three scales or any two scales or any one scale.

Vacuform is classed as styrene right ?   I've got a 1/72 Rareplane vacuform plus all the white metal enhancing bits from Aeroclub

Dear Eduard,
I'd sure enjoy a  1/48 kit of the Mikoyan Ye-2 swept wing prototype done to the level of your Fishbeds.

MBT70 and Conqueror, 1/35th in plastic. Meng seem to be the only company with any guts at the moment so they get my vote and hopes and dreams for these "must have" kits  ;D

I know they are resin and not exactly cheap, but don't forget that Commander Models do a 1/35 MBT-70 and Accurate Armour do a 1/35 Conqueror.

Yeah  :-[   That's why I'm hoping for plastic. I'll be dirt napping long before I'd ever manage to finish something like the AA Conq in resin.
