I'm assuming this is a Soviet Fishing rod etc.  Given the Buccaneer was originally designed in response to the Soviet Union's Sverdlov-class cruiser it would only make sense for the USSR to develop a counter-countermeasure... ;)

Oh, GTX, why focusing on military matter, when you see such a peaceful occupation as fishing? hehehe... ;)

Every last one a gem, you should be in animation.  The H21/twin otter combo is so possible looking too, but I can't pick a favourite, all just superb.

Keep them coming.

I discovered the existence of this recently, apparently a not so rare exercise in 1/1 whiffing of french classic cars (2cv and "Traction")

and in my stash I had one of each in 1/43 by Heller ...

so here is one way, in red :

and the other way, blue :

Snails are moving very slowly but what is their speed for blowing?  ;)
On the opposite the octopus one seems just perfect! very plausible, no?

Very unique.  I keep thinking of that octopus sneezing and activating all those party blowers at once.

fish & 1/24 Harrier, blue & red Re: hybrid aircraft/animals and others
« Reply #842 on: February 19, 2017, 05:25:50 AM »

continuing with fish, that one is quite big, so it is a bit monstruous (not only by size  ;) ) :
the Harrier is Airfix's 1/24 (I got it for real cheap : 10 euros),
and the fish is a big rubbery thing, but sizes did fit well :

one way, in red :

and the other way, in blue :

(wheels were a bit hard to get straight, but hey, it does stand )

another fishy experiment : using the booms of the previously shown 1/48 P-61, and a resin fish replica
(Tophe, you were concerned about the booms : here they are, not lost, on the contrary ! )

this time I had to adopt a new kind of modelling tool :
