Not so sure about the links above...never-the-less, here is a link to the real website: http://www.tiger-model.com/index.asp?hl=en (http://www.tiger-model.com/index.asp?hl=en)

I would like to take credit for the second one having recently placed an order for a 1/35 resin AMX 10 RC from Azimut... :-X Another case of taking one for the team...
-
Glad to see they're doing some 1/72 scale armor, too.
-
That AMX-10RCR has a good probability of being added to my stash. Though it may end up as part of a turret swap with something else before all is said and done.
-
Nice to see the Panhard VBL in injection molded plastic. :)
Sucks I have the resin kit :(
-
Are these on sale anywhere yet?
-
And the VBL will come with the number 83876 from Hobbyboss.

Wow, I had no idea there was an ERA variant of the AMX30.

Yep:
I am tempted to get the AMX-30Bs Brennus kit and re arm it with the GIAT 120mm gun from the Leclerc MBT thus creating a upgraded export version/lower cost alternative perhaps.

Don't show that Nagmachon to Guy, he'll want to put it on a boat hull. ;D :icon_fsm:

Hmmm...no there's an idea...
I actually like the idea of one done up in either Police Blue or even British Army in Northern Ireland?
-
even British Army in Northern Ireland?
Only if I can molotov the fecking thing. :icon_punal:
-
;D
-
this AMX-30 for the Brennus is their own new mold.
and ... Bugger, Bugger, Bugger,
where were these Academy, AFV Club & Tiger models 25 years ago when I bought the resin kits of all these IDF vehicles :icon_nif:

Tiger Models be making similar reactive armor kits of Grant, Lee, Stuart tanks ?

Tiger Models be making similar reactive armor kits of Grant, Lee, Stuart tanks ?
Yes, but only after they do the Mk IV and A7V ones...which will have ERA and Trophy APS... ;)

I wonder how the above would look with ERA?
-
I wonder how the above would look with ERA?
Even uglier? The standard AMX-10 looks fine, all that extra armour seems rather pointless IMHO. It is a heavy armour car, not wheeled MBT...

When I was in the RAAC my unit was flagged as the trial unit for Project Mulgara, a light, mine protected, reconnaissance vehicle. All sorts of vehicles were considered, from modified Holden Rodeos (Isuzu utility), modified Humvee, to light strike vehicles with composite armour, but what we actually wanted and hoped for was something like the VBL, or Mowag Eagle.
This kit has be reminiscing and imagining Aussie VBLs in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I want!
-
WoW! That looks impressive. Wonder how 'impressive' the price will be?
-
Imagine doing one up as a family cruiser ;)
-
What's the going rate for a kidney in semi-good condition (liver is out of the question)?
Lot's of potential right there, would love to add one to the stash.
-
I want!
Hell, yeah! :-* :P
-
I want two! One in US colours trialled in the Persian Gulf and one in Swedish Splinters. Actually.... a third one would be nice, as a what-if operational Brazilian version using the twin-barrelled AMOS mortar.
:uuu: Yeah nah, not happening. But a guy can dream, right?
Also really happy about that ERC-90 they're set to release. Awesome subject, I think.
-
using the twin-barrelled AMOS mortar.
I just want someone to release this in 1/35...
-
^ Yeah. Word was that Hobby Boss would do the AMOS as part of their CV90 series, along with the AA variant of the CV9040 and the projected light tank with a low-pressure 120mm gun. Whether they will eventually be released, I don't know. Their release schedule seems rather erratic.
I hope either IBG will release the Finnish AMOS version of their Rosomak (Polish version of Patria AMV) kit or someone will do the turret as a conversion set.
-
I would be happy with a resin conversion set. There are multiple platforms I would like to mount it on.

And just after your funds transfer Hobbyboss will release it in styrene ;)
-
True...but it's not nice to remind me.

Oooooh, yes please! Lovely white with chrome rails...

CB 90 is on pre-order at Hobbyeasy, for $85 Cdn. I honestly expected it to be at least double that.

It could very well be double that pre-order price by the time it reaches storeshelves as a regular retail item.

:-* Wonderful! Hope they'll follow up with a Sagaie.

Has anyone seen this yet? Specifically the third picture down? I am looking forward to the AMX-10RC with the Nexter T40 turret. Really just interested in the turret for an idea I have. Mounted on a C2 MEXAS Leopard in Canadian service as a heavy recon/route security vehicle.
-
^ cool idea. Reminds me of this what-if from Jason B -

That is where the seed of this idea came from! That and one of the ideas that Nexter floated as a use for the T40 turret was mounting it on, I believe, older LeClerc chassis for much the same usage.

Greg, just looked at three posts you have just done and they are all showing a white square with a 'No Entry' symbol in it.

Ditto. No images or links.
-
Same for me as well but it is also happening with posts from other members. No image or link displayed. This has been going on for a couple of months now in my case.
-
I saw the image earlier. It's linking back to kitmakers, which Firefox claims is insecure. it's possible that their SSL certs expired and they haven't renewed it yet. In fact, if I use http instead of https for the link, I get:
-
@Frank, yeah, I saw that too after I opened Greg's post to see the link which I then opened to a screen that said it was not secure with something about the certificates not being up to date or summat.
