This may be an older build, but it's one of my favorites of yours so far, Zod! Those mushroom-shaped turrets are great!

Looks great! :) I've got one of these in my stash that I've been saving until I think I'm up to the challenge of doing it justice. Thanks for the inspiration!

That is such cool tank! I guess I can always hope that one day, Miyazaki will do the movie he was planning that would feature this tank. Probably won't happen but you never know.

So way cool and different. I love this style of kit-bash. :-*

Unfortunately, both Hobby Link Japan and Hobby Search are out of stock at the moment but here are the links if you want 'em. Hobby Search, in particular, has photos of the sprues and the instructions. Sorry but it looks like the measurements they list is for the over-all box size.

I agree!
Supposedly, when what would later become Studio Ghibli was initially forming to produce its first feature, Miyazaki was trying to choose which of his original stories to animate. Eventually, the choice came down to one of two stories he'd done in his Daydream Notes series published in Model Graphix; either one about a young man who must rescue his girlfriend from a giant tank crewed by pigs OR one about a pig who pilots a red float plane around the Adriatic and battles sky pirates. Well, the pig in the red float plane won over the pigs in a tank, Porco Rosso was made and the rest is movie history.

Offhand,I have no idea. I am out on the road as a trucker,so I do not have access to the model. I may have posted the measurements on another forum.I will have a look. I do know it is longer and wider than a 1/35 Sherman.
