The yellow stuff on the body is epoxy putty, the yellow stuff on the tail is just yellow plastic sheet. Not sure what you mean by third kit though? The tailplane is from a 1/144 fighter jet and the engines are just resin cast copies of the engine from the kit.

I thought all the different coloured parts were different kits you had blended.
Its not that its not real but it could be that its not true.

Got my hands on a more appropriate sized flanker, work can resume:

Final gluing and hopefully the last coat of putty applied (I know it wont be, but a man can dream).

F/A-36: First paints applied. Need to paint engines, panel line wash and maybe re-do cockpit.

Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Lovely work on that C-3. Not only the build, the camo is also very, very nice.
Cheers,

The C-3 looks great - especially for being 1/700. Very impressive!

I love the C-3, it's gorgeous, and find the F/A-36 quite impressive.

Thanks for all the support for the C-3. Small but enjoyable build, was worried about the panel lines on the wings, glad the paint covered it up nicely.

Next up: F/A-36.
From a pure looks perspective I think its my favorite design so far. The model itself - not so much, it's the trumpeter 1/144 F-22. The canopy is firmly molded into the fuselage and the parts fit wasn't so great so it was a little difficult to work with.

On another note this was the second model from the same build list that I completed (first was the C-3). Usually I make new lists half way through builds - weird times for me.

Certainly looks larger than 1:144th scale in your images.  I think the under the wing stores help to disguise the actual size of your subject.  Very nice! :smiley:

Something I've been wanting to do for a while: Super Tornado. Bumping up the size of a Tornado to an F-14.
Featuring F-14 wings, F-15 intakes and F-16 nozzles.
