This thread is for posting your ideas for Arado Ar-234 Blitz and Heinkel He-343 creations.

To start with, how about this '50s era Ar234F (with the real world Ar-234B-2 included for comparison):

One of those things that makes you stop for a moment and ponder the concept. Maybe the next interpretation could see the cockpit located closer to where the wing leading joins the fuselage.

Maybe more a customized Do-335 than an Arado 234 whif, it combines several kits (hence the "E Pluribus Unum" statement). The idea is a "Furhermachine" to escape being trapped in Berlin. Hitler gets to sit up front, Goering is in ostensibly the pilot's seat (but with dummy controls), but Hanna Reich is actually flying the plane from the upper cockpit. There are twin Jumo jets on each wing, but the prop in the tail is the "cruising" engine to get them all economically safely to Spain with limited fuel (jets are engaged only when evasion speed is necessary)

Tree dude! Sweet concept. May be scale o rama'd the wrong way though.

I know different model brands of so called same scale vary wildly but the engines in your profile look too small.
Course it's a whiff so who cares. I know your kind of a stickler though so I thought I would show what Arado engines look like on a 335.
Your profile makes me wish I had put that Arado nose on.

Quite the monster-brute Do-335 you have there! Not that subtlety was ever your strong point!

If I'm not mistaken, I think I also see a Sotoolslinger Works item in the website's header, over on the right.

The crudely-photoshopped "Mein Flucht" ("My Escape") drawing may be off-scale a bit. It is just a rough-concept sketch. I have the requisite kits I need. I actually hope to have it "rail-launched" with heavy rocket-pack assist (rails and rocket packs courtesy of an old Revell "Snark" kit). The platform steps leading up to the Furher's seat will have the names of (formerly) conquered countries on them, so they can be under Hitler's jackboot one last time before he departs the Germany that let him down. In my backstory, certain critical parts of the launch system are made from slave-labor and deliberately sabotaged, so that after the bungled attempt at escape Hitler is so despondent that he decides on suicide.

Intrigued by the initial post, and thought I'd have a play with it. I took a slice out of the fuselage and deepened the spine a little. I like the shortened engine pods, so retained them.

I think, that it would look better with longer engine pods. Also, engines shuld be "glued" to the fuselage, something like Alpha Jet. Also, give it a wider wing, for more load.

Different! The engines are actually supposed to be advanced Heinkel HeS 011 variants. The basic idea was for an Ar234 variant something along the lines of a B-57B or Canberra B(I)8 - i.e. an interdictor variant with cannon belly pack.

I like your sleeker version too.

Whilst messing about with the line drawing, I couldnt help thinking about Clunks and Pucaras

. I reckon if you messed too much with the original idea it would morph into a Clunk/Cranberry.

I have had this idea for a while concerning the Ar-234 that involves folding wings and a tail hook for a naval aircraft to use aboard an aircraft carrier. Colors and markings as yet to be determined.

What would be interesting to see is a Canberra with the engines mounted up against the fuselage. I suppose that would create an issue on where to place the main landing gear. Maybe give it tandem gear like the B-47 and Vatour? With outrigger wheels somewhere near the wing tips?

You guys at this site got the ideas. Proposed 234 variants and Marine one are great. Marine one is my kinda bashing. Agree on the 234's, have 1/72 kits of different brands and fuselage width varies. Cut one up and am using it building a bash right now.

Super ideas and illustrations.
For eight engine version might use 1/48 twin engine kit and mount four twin engine pods from 1/72 kits.
Maybe engines would look to small.
Or -- 1/48 four engine kit with outer wing mount of twin engine pods from 1/72 kits

What do you use to make the illustrations ?
