In other words, the bit to make the C-130 look like this:

I believe Cutting Edge used to do one.

I wonder.. could you fill the later dolphin nose with resin, CA glue it to the fuselage, and then file and shape it down to the profile pictured?
-
Possibly...though I am lazy ;D

Greg, you missed this eBay auction that closed on 20140037: Cutting Edge 1/48 C-130A "Roman Nose" radome conversion (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Cutting-Edge-1-48-C-130A-Roman-Nose-radome-conversion-/351083611901)

Bugger! Damn it Jeff...you need to warn me before the auction closes!!!

Sorry mate, just found it myself. Had an urge to see if I could find one for myself. I think Graeme has the right idea, just fill the original kit nose or pack a big wad of putty on the fuselage and sand to shape. To be honest, the $10.00 price on the winning bid was a surprise but something as esoteric as the Roman Nose conversion would not really be one of those must have items for most modelers. I like the look of it as it reminds me of the Boeing YC-14 program and the similar shape of the nose on that aircraft.

Contact the seller? Maybe they have another one stashed away?

Thanks mate but I managed to receive some from Jeff.
