Is that 12 props and four jets? Pity that a single .50 cal bullet would make it go up in flames (it seems to be the fate of all Japanese aircraft)

Someone created a model of that for a War Thunder game mod and apparently forgot to put the jet engines on it.  It is huge to be sure and impressive to see in game flying around.

Apparently, it was to get 12 turboprops and four jets --- although the turboprops were only about 1900 hp. IMHO, that would be more underpowered than the Hughes HK-1

That almost sounds like Star Trek fanboys who add four warp nacelles, multiple photon torpedo and phaser turrets to their starship designs.

Wrong scale - obviously -, but also scale-o-rama potential.
Use this plus a 1/72 Mosquito cockpit+canopy for a jet-powered medium bomber.
Cheers,
Moritz

I want it in 1/72 as well, but over the last five years I've been transitioning to 1/48 for my Kiwi warbird models so this is very exciting news. We've had three, and the third - currently the sole airworthy example - is based at my local airport so I'm hoping for a boxing with Vampire verticals and Pinocchio nose....

YouTube video by yours truly of a display in January

They're back on now but for a while owner John Luff flew her without tiptanks...maybe this is an opportunity for me to experiment with these "magnets" some clever modellers use...

Yes, it is an ex-Swiss Air Force FB 4.

Mind you, the RNZAF did have plenty originally...

It is, formerly J-1634 and then HB-RVA on their civil register. There's a great article on John and his Venom by a talented young guy* here

Mind you, the RNZAF did have plenty originally...
We leased around 45 for Malaya but unfortunately they never made it here. Two of the three Kiwi warbird Venoms wore/wear the scheme of WE434 from that bunch.

Found this on their Facebook page. No other information but I hope they make it.
Oh, it's 1/72.  >:D

Sharkit had made one. But long OOP.
There is a brief write-up on it in French Secret Projects Volume 1, pages 191-192.

If this kit does get made, I would add three smaller missiles mounted on the engine nacelles.

I believe the artist is Christophe Gibelin. http://christophe.gibelin.free.fr/indexhibit/index.php
