More Raspberry Ripple

CSMO's magnificent R.A.E. Sopwith Camel brought back memories of something I built a while back, finished in a similar scheme. I call it the SE-10 "Seaton".

The base kit is the venerable 1/72 Revell SE-5a with an even more venerable engine & cowling from a Matchbox P-12E. The canopy was swiped from a Hayabusa and spats are from Aeroclub.

The model was rigged with this lovely, long-gone railroad wire and brush-painted by hand in acrylics.

The silly backstory featured a character named Sir Hammond-Rye of the R.A.E. and an unquenchable appetite for Reuben sandwiches.

As always Brian, your imagination knows no bounds. Or food types.

Who were the A/C Erks? LAC Pickle and Sergeant Mustard?

Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

It looks like a Waco designed aircraft. A nice hybrid mix.
