somewhere over the Indian ocean....

an odd combat duo
an Indonesian N1K1 facing a RAN SC1 seahawk........maybe a better pilot might just win.

the SC! is an exotic 1/72 kit...and a nice kit to build

the N1K1 is an Asuka models resin kit.

yes the sc-1 is out gunned and out powered.........but who knows maybe just a well flown SC-1 might just come out the winner

Unusual and interesting... (visually, as I am not loving the kill stories, sorry)

Nice work.  I'd love to see the SC-1 floats used to make a "Bearcatfish" to better deal with the opposition.

Outstanding! Funny I never noticed the similarities between these two types before.

I really like how you chose such unusual markings which make for one believable scenario.

This dogfight would be one for the books!

Great stuff!

Nice one. They make a great display pair.  :)
