Those fingernail decals are showing up much more often. Great choice all around. I’ve got some fuselages laying around be that would work for this. Not yellow, I wouldn’t copy you that closely.

Thanks again for all the kind comments guys.

Kerick :  this so nearly became a Seehund or Kaiten style Submarine, but use yellow if it fits.  Brian had already produced an excellent yellow Submarine long before I started on this one !  ;D ;D

The Beatles made the idea of a yellow submarine so popular that there are a rather large number of civilian submarines & quasi-submarines painted yellow in the Real World.

So, I wouldn't be too worried about "stealing" the idea from 'mog, he & everyone else stole it from Paul, John, George & Ringo. ;)
