Messerschmitt 109K racer

My first post here for a while but here's my latest bit of whiffery, built as part of a 24 hour build on another forum.

The kit is the Heller Bf 109K-4. I removed the cannon muzzle from the spinner and filled in the gun troughs on the cowling. The markings are from a Techmod Bf 108 sheet which includes an example flown at the 1937 Isle of Man Air Rally, which also inspired the colour scheme.

Great build. Love the colours.
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

When did you build it?
If it is very recent, it might qualify for the Non-Military Group Build: http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=6379.0

Thanks for the comments guys, glad you like it.  :)

When did you build it?

I built it last weekend. If I'd known the Non Military GB had been extended I might have entered it.

So you built it during the GB, and the GB is still running for a couple of days. I think you should enter it anyway. The more the merrier...
