Translated from Spanish

After the Pucara Jet, the following project of an advanced jet trainer plane and tactical attack aircraft was the FMA IA-60 (1975). Dr Horten had already retired but He offer his advice to solve some aerodynamic problems detected in the wing during tests in the wind tunnel.

The planned power plant was the Rolls Royce Turbomeca Adour RT 172-26. A single-seater attack version was planned, with the second seat replaced by a fuel tank, with a payload of 1890 kg and two DEFA 30 mm guns in the nose.

It was planned to complement and replace the A-4 Skyhawk with the IA-60.

The project was too ambitious for the stipulated deadlines and the technical and industrial capacity of the FMA.
Finally the MS-769 Paris would be replaced by the IA-63 Pampa, the next project of Advance Jet Trainer

Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.
