The second mortgage is a good idea.  You are going to have to build a room addition anyway.

Out there on the sweeping plains of Canada, you can afford to move into this model...  ;)

The real one lands at Calgary Airport every now and then, each time though I've missed it. Seen the AN-124's quite often though while working there.

From another site:

Dear All,

Herein would like to inform you that the release of An-225 "Mriya" (#7206, #7207) to be postponed for the end of Q1, 2020.
The kit is already in production, however - manufacturing process of fiberglass parts ( wing, fuselage) takes more time and effort, as far as it is handmade.
Official retail price shall be announced in the end of Jan/early Feb 2020.

Thank you for your attention!

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

He needs the extra room for stash outliers to be consolidated. ;D

Modelsvit is drawing up plans to produce a 1/48 scaleYak-9SD night fighter

”Hello Friends,
Maybe someone of you know that in the end of 1944, a small amount of Yak-9D (Early vers.) were converted into 2-seat night interceptors with more powerful armament and radio locator. So, we have decided to recreate this unfamiliar modification under designation Yak-9SD in 1/48 scale.
Greetings!!”

Apparently just an April Fools' joke.  :uuu:
Why do companies do this? I don't see the point of this bullshit. Oh, great, you proved that your customers care about your products and are happy to hear of your news. But.... HAHA! It was just a joke! And you believed it (you gullible idiot)! Look who's got egg on his face!
Surely a good way to improve curstomer relations. Just... why?  :-\

No apologies necessary, Carl.  It looked absolutely legit.
Hadn't Gingie brought up the possibility of an April Fools-type stunt in the Takom thread re the Yamato turret I wouldn't have considered this Yak to be a prank. There were so many subtypes and prototypes in the Yak family, why not a  prototpye of Zwilling as a nightfighter? With the F-82 in Korea, I wouldn't have put it past the Soviets to give somehing like that a try themselves.

As a what-if, it's actually pretty cool.
