Right?
An old PC Mouse is easy to get:
It is just a question of disassembling it properly:
And later on reassembling it in a slight different way:
You add some old wheels from the spare box:
And with an old PC fan and some pieces of wire ... you trully got LOVE!

And by LOVE I mean Light Overall VEhicle, from the world wide known LOVE Industries.
To be continued.... ;)

Just to add some human dimension to the scene I added the DAK figure, slightly modified.
A classic example of love pushing :)
And so the construction is prettty much done. Now is time for some primer!
Thanks for watching!

Thanks, guys!
Yesterday was primer time!
And a little "soil" to go with it:
The final disposition will be something like this:
The painting phase will soon follow :)
-
Mighty clever! Can't wait to see it in paint.
-
Looking good ... !!!!
-
The build is really nice the way it ended up being engineered.
What a great use of everyday objects.
Gotta be a group build in that sort of thing
-
one of the neatest uses of a mouse in models i have seen!!
-
Thanks for looking and for the comments!
The basic painting is done with a slithly surreal marking scheme to go along with it...
As for the figure, the basic painting is also done:
Since nature abhors a bright and shiny painting in scale models :), next step will be the weathering!
Some preliminary tests with color pencils (the aquarell/watercolor kind - add some water to produce a brush-like finish):
Not too shaby, but I think I will stick to the more traditional approach of using a sponge.
-
Outstanding! :)
-
Agreed! I love this style of modeling and your work is gorgeous :)
-
Wow!!
Three weeks of absence on internet and such a kick ass in my favorite subforum ;)
Love the way You use that old mouse and other parts (that rear fan is from CPU cooler isn't it?).
-
Thanks for the feedback!
And the painting and weathering is done!
The "luxurious" interiors:

That's a grand-prize, blue ribbon winning whiff if ever I saw one, Antonio!
The weathering is superb and the guy pushing it is a great touch!

This is excellent! if you hadn't shown it to us from the beginning, I wouldn't believe it's a mouse.

Agreed!
-
Thanks for the nice words!
But now I have traded mouses for cows :)
-
Hi!
Stunning job! :) I love it! The basic idea, the used parts, and the build also very well done! Love the paintjob also, inspiring work! :-*
-
Wonderful work on the weathering, the concept and look too. So realistic looking!!
Well Done!!
-
That is superb :-*

Sorry for my late arrival here, but I have just stumbled across this build and I had to say something! That is by far some of the coolest scratch building I have seen in ages. What an excellent use for an old mouse, and your paint work is just flawless. Brilliant just doesn't quite feel an adequate enough adjective for me here.
-
We appear to be experiencing a convergence of parallel inspiration ! ;)
