78th Squadriglia HD1 trio (Valom 1/144)

Hallo friends,
Here is a 1/144 (Valom kits) Hanriot trio, dedicated to the Italian 78th Squadriglia.
I decided not to rig them because my thick fingers are too clumsy to manage the wires around the struts and the risk was to break things, so here they are, I know they're imperfect but I think all in all the overall effect is not that bad!

Here they are on the ground:

Lt.Mario Fucini's 12 skulls
Autumn 1918

Sgt. Guido Nardini's little devil
Summer 1917

Sgt. Antonio Chiri's black tail
Autumn 1918

(sorry for this photo out of focus...)

Thanks for watching

Antonio

Love the stipling and colours on fucinis 12 skulls. I can see that scaled up on to an italian ww2 plane as well

Thanks Cam...
I have all their collection, but they're too hard to build!!!

Thanks Haemon, Fucini's livery was made with a sponge brush (so they say...)  I think WW2 planes had different shades, although I'm not an expert of that historical period... maybe I'm totally wrong! :-P

Those are some magnificent little gems!

It's a real treat to see your Italian W.W. I aircraft!
