Lindbergh's
Spirit of St. Louis was designated the Ryan NYP (
New York To Paris), and an identical copy was
built at the request of the Japanese, and it turns out that the NYP-2 J-BACC* was fitted with a windscreen at some point.

*The J-BACC registration was later re-used on a Bf 108. :)
