After getting a positive review for their Gim-12 fighter by the Committee of State Sanctioned Modelling, Alternative History and Tractor Carburetor Production, the Gimyarovsckaya brothers were invited to propose a fighter which must shoot down all Mach 2+ bombers coming from those corrupt capitalist war mongers countries. The project was assigned the code name: Трамваи над сталинградом
As always, the Gimyarovsckaya brothers start all their projects with their best design engineer, "Svetlana Stolichnaya". So off they to go their local pub to lubricate the brain cells. Unknown to them, Bothan spies also frequent the same pub, Летающий петух. After some borscht and 3 or 4 bottles of Stolichnaya, they tend to get a bit loud. The Bothans then learned of the Gimyarovsckaya brothers participation. Faster than you can say "It's a Trap", they sent in a team and took these crude pictures of the Gim-14 mockup. It is still in an early design phase so there maybe additional design changes.
