PZL P-24G in Finnish service

In late 30´purchased Finnish Air Force about 30 - 40 PZL P-24G planes in Poland. Delivery was completed befor "Talvisota" (Winter war) and P-24G soldiered thru the whole WW II.

These look very "right".  I like them a lot.  I bet they'd look good in plastic, too.

Given the winter conditions, I'd love to see a few of them without the spats...or on skis!

Cheers,

Logan

sweet, those look stunning, many many thanks indeed for sharing these (il have to pick up at least one other MPM. P.24 now )  8)

hmm just following Logan's thoughts, a wartime example with overall white uppers and light blue/grey undersurfaces (plus one possibly with white camouflage in place of the black) would look really sweet

brill profiling, kiitos, Joe

Beautiful!!!  I'd love to see this carried over to other aircraft like the Phantom II and the Tomcat or even whif-ed aircraft like a navalized F-15.

'pääsky' (swallow) might work as a direct translation for the 'swallow'  ;) (thanks Hannele)

love the Me.262 profiles, very neat indeed and a nice surprise to see  :-* the A.4 profiles look amazing, just the thing for the recent Airfix kit  :)

Iv seen a note mentioning JG44 were in the process of training a pilot from Finland (as well as 2 from Hungary) at the wars end (interesting as Finland's war ended in 1944 after which they were ostensibly at war with Germany) il try track down its source but i think it was in a Finnish 'Sivet' magazine?
A number of Finns did continue the war against the Soviets after the end of the Continuation war and the subsequent Lapland war against the retreating German forces. I am assuming the pilot referred to was one of those, joining the Luftwaffe at the time of Finlands capitulation to the USSR. ?

again many many thanks for sharing your excellent artworks, kiitos, joe  8)

Very nice, that last one.  I can't remember of the A-4 was one of the aircraft the USN experimented with camouflage during the "Southeast Asia Wargames".  I know the F-4, RA-5, and A-6 tried it, but I don't remember of the A-4 was included.  In any case, this looks gorgeous.
