Beautiful A-10.  Any chance of some first- and/or second-generation Harriers in West German markings?  They would be appropriate G.91 replacements.  I could see an AV-8B+ in Marinfleiger markings carrying a couple Komorans and some self-defense IRAAMs.

Marinflieger could mirror the USN carrier air group for any given time, i.e. F-14, A-7, A-6, S-3 replacing F-4, A-4, A-5, S-2 etc.

Looking forward to seeing them, though I could also see an AV-8B+/Sea Harrier FA.2 mix (FA.2 radome and the extra hardpoints ahead of the outriggers, common to British second generation Harriers, on a basic AV-8B+ airframe - possibly with British RHAWS, too) as a Harrier FG.11 and export versions, including one, or more, in Marineflieger markings.

At first of german (MBB production) Harriers some simply colouring.
Next come "standard versions" (GR. 1/3/7) and AV-8B+ .....

A piece of cake like apetizer...  ;)

Nice; gorgeous, too!!  I wonder if we'd see a European consortium for NATO Harrier production (say MBB in Germany, Breguet in France, and Aermacchi in Italy) with various Harrier variants, or derivatives thereof, in service with each country?

Maybe.... Basic users will be those, who worked together on Harriers predecessor - Kestrel...
But I think that something like "unified light attack NATO plane" is not so good idea.
But.... more users is ore schemes, colours and markings for us - modellers.... or whiffers.... :-)

Well, John Fozard once said that Hawker-Siddeley was putting together a NATO consortium for the Harrier (Breguet in France is a known, as is Northrop in the USA) and I could see that happening (heck, makes more sense for NATO than the F-104 did).  Still, it makes for considerable whiffing potential.

Those would be for the Marinefleiger variants of the Sea Harrier, each carrying a pair of Komoran missiles.

Beautiful Bundesluftwaffe first generation Harriers and I've no doubt camouflage and markings evolved over the years.  I can just see these lifting from hides and going into battle.

Excellent!!  Though more likely a FGR.11, or export variant thereof (RAF model numbers for the Harrier skip 11, so I figure that was reserved for a radar-nosed second-generation Harrier.  I could see this one with the extra pylons that the RAF variants use.

I like the German Harriers - I have it in mind to build a GR.1A version at some point.

I tried to translate Harrier into German and all I got was "Der Harrier".  ;)
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Harrier translates as Weihe ... although weihe means a bunch of other things in German too  ???

German harrier species are Wiesenweihe (Montagu's Harrier), Rohrweihe  (Western marsh harrier), etc.
