Apologies in advance for the lack of umlauts - I've got a cheat sheet for thme, but its at work. Anyway, I've had a couple of
Hasegawa Tiger I's (late model) in the stash, and when I discovered each kit came with an extra KwK barrel, a flakpanzer
along the lines of the supposed E-100 & Maus projects suggested itself.

Naturally, I couldn't just leave it at that, especially after seeing Buzzbomb's Turbine Panther...so, since Heisenberg was
convinced a spherical form was the way to go, I sloped the rear deck a bit to lower the height of the reactor housing, and
cut up a fishing float, ( or bobber, if you like ) and Lo! Atomic Tiger.

The radar is from an old MPM 262 kit. I'm probably going to re-hang the guns, so that they're trunioned a bit further back.
At high elevation, the gap in the turret is quite pronounced, and I don't want to spend time detailing the interior with its
zombie crew. ( The Nazis did have a bit of help from the Deros on this one...)
A bit more backstory later in the week.

Love it! great turret! the reactor is brilliant and the antlers just make it wicked. >:D A terribly cool idea I wish I had thought of!!

Thanks for the kind words, colleagues! Work continues, though there isn't much to see. I spent this morning re-doing the turret top
and gun mount.

Somewhere in the back of my brain is a little meme that whispers softly "If I do it right the first time, I won't learn anything
at all..." I pretty much destroyed the top of the turret trying to to install the altered gun mount, got up this morning, cut the
thing away, and fixed it.
Taiidan - Nothing wrong with borrowng inspiration - I got my initial notions from Buzzbomb's build, after all. Go to, mon ami!
EDIT: As to the name, well, it is a Sabre-Toothed Tiger, afterr all... ;)

Valejo dark yellow overall, with various accents in pastels, and markings from a surprisingly still good ESCI sheet from their
Elefant kit. Backstory tomorrow when I post it in Finished Entries...
