LOVE the CIA 47.  Always liked the B-47, and the new engines make it (if anything) sexier.  I'd hate to be in the pilot's seat when one of the wingtip jets flames out on takeoff, though!

Props and fan jets for long range spy missions.  Looks very cold war 8)
Creative imagineering.
Can picture one at air base with any of F-86D/K, F-100, F-102, C-119, C-124, T-33 parked near by.

I love your 'push-me-pull-you' B-47 BdB   :)   8)

I love B-47s with props! Push pull is even better! The wing tip jets tell me that the pilots like to live dangerously.

Great back story, too, as usual!

Is that kit the same as the Academy kit in a different boxing?

I'm really glad you like it, Frank!

I can't tell any difference between the Academy & Hobby Craft versions. Sure looks like one is a re-pop of the other to me.
