High altitude Battle

Here's one I made many years ago from the remnants of an old Airfix Battle and a leftover resin Vulture engine I'd made for a Manchester conversion ( built for a wartime tail gunner as a gift but that's another story..)

Not far off the truth they UL, the Battle was used as an FTB for a number of 'big' engines --

It was an Airfix Battle originally so it's got to be 1/72.

That looks interesting.  Any reason why the aircraft would have looks like a pre or early WWII USAAC rudder?

what's interesting with that photo is the censor has 'whited' out one blade from each prop ---  ???
