That's a pretty big model! I wouldn't mind getting one, but even the smaller Modelsvit kits tend to be very expensive, at least in the US.

A look in the box at the Modelsvit 1:72nd scale Bartini BBA-14 (kit number 72014) courtesy of Bernhard Pethe and Modellversium.

*As a side note to this rather interesting model of an even more interesting subject I can tell you from first hand experience that it is a very strange looking beast.  This craft as well as others of its type were located at a flight test center in Russia after the test program and left out in the open.  The state no longer had a need for the craft or design and moved on so these things and there were several other variations on the Bartini design parked in the same location.  This became an "Easter Egg" of sorts for the imagery analysts that attended the USAF training program for satellite imaging systems (yes, I attended and graduated).  As most imagery analysts were guilty of the wandering eye while parked on a microscope looking at the imagery it was quite a treat to find these things parked out in the open and neglected.  I can never forget the shape of the things so when Modeslvit decided to produce a 1:72nd scale  model of this unique craft it is very much appreciated to be able actually see it without the aid of having to travel to that location (passport required), or the security clearance and a microscope of my prior trade in life when I was in uniform looking for interesting things in denied areas.

As I recall, there was a test of inflatable pontoons. It looks like that may be included. Big question is where do I get one?

I'm sort of interested in the undercarriage it has, I need something like that for a 1/72 Avro 730.  Not sure if they're big enough though, that weird thing is only 16" wingspan in 1/72 scale

Robert: Ivan Kolenko over at Modelsua.com has the VVA-14-M-62. I have bought from him several times. So far very reliable. With an account, the price is $37.00 USD. Tempted to buy one to complement my P6M Seamaster.

I was doing a quick search and so far for the price you don't want to buy one just for the landing gear. :o

Hmm, 72nd is a bit big for my desktop - I'd buy several in 1/144th PLASTIC tho ..... I wonder if many will whiff these kits rather than build OOB ???

I can see a V.V.S maritime bomber in there !  (profiles started !) :)
