Luchs C3 (Canada) "what if" Desert Storm 1991

Hello,
"Jane´s defence" was written many years ago:
"Accepting the offer of the West German government, the Canadian Forces took possession of 55 Luchs for service in the Gulf War. Named ‘Luchs C3’, these were issued to reconnaissance units of 4CMBG that were deployed to Saudi Arabia in Dec 1990 – Jan 1991".
I built my TAKOM Luchs looks like a desert storm vehicle.
This suspension was a fight, I built in april 2015
The original piece was broken. I airbrush this Luchs in sand 3 Years ago. Now he had to finish.
details:
decals from other kits:
finished:
I hope, you like it.

Nice looking Luchs! Is the Revell Luchs kit worse or better than the TAKOM kit?

I've built the Revell one. Going from the pictures as complex as it seemed, it appears a little less complex than the Takom one as far as it's undersides go. I must admit, I left off a few pieces 'cause they didn't seem to fit all that well.

Hi,
I have no Revell-Luchs. the only Luchs was the VACUformed from Schmidt, I built in 1992. But a few years ago in a Fuchs-kit was a sprue from the Luchs. So I have some parts to compare. The TAKOM have 400 parts, the Revell 220. Only the suspension, steering and the axes have approximately 200 parts, and I need 6 houres to build this. The complet model was in 14 houres ready for colour.
Even TAKOM did not do everything right:
They even forgot something. Good, I had REVELL parts.
Some photos from my VACU:

Very nice, Didi! An excellent build ... as we've come to expect from you
Also a blast-from-the-past to see JP's version from the old Network 54 'Modern Canadian Vehicles' forum days
