Welcome to the Group Build.
A quick preface before the nitty gritty:
Typically when we are talking "46" it is after "luftwaffe" on the German side or "Hikoki" on the Japanese end. Both of these being typically, though not exclusive to the weapons that the axis powers may have fielded had the war lasted longer. It can range from prototypes that never made service to the very odd and eclectic sci fi alternate histories.
So this GB is not so much about what it is, as What it is not. It is NOT for the Axis powers. This is for the Allies 1946. The chance to have a little fun with what the good guys might have put forth. When I moderate GBs I tend to be on the more permissive side. This is to encourage participation, with that in mind the rules are relatively loose and the only big guiding principal is that it not have Swastikas or Hinomarus. basically I'm really not looking to cut down your idea, and have one really solid rule I don't intend on bend on, and thats no Axis markings.
1. Have Fun!!!
2. Creativity encouraged as is collaboration (be as creative as you dare)
3 Duration is 1 feb 2018 to 31 MArch 2018 ( 2 week extension might be possible)
4 Physical creations and pixels/stories will be judged separately
5. Tanks, planes, ships, personnel, pixels, art, drawings, writing all are welcome. (it doesn't just have to be airplanes!)
6. Axis gear is Allowed, however it must be painted in allied colors, and or markings. for example:

See rule 1!
Any questions or comment or concerns can be messaged to me, or better yet posted here so people who have the same question may get the same answer. Build kicks off in just a couple days, and I am looking forward to seeing everyone's imaginations on display!

The immediate thought that comes to mind is everything happens as in reality except either the west attacks the east or vice versa, either directly or through client states. End result, no axis powers or axis uber weapons, but rather the next generation of allied gear, maybe with a little German technology thrown in (unlikely due to development times)
-
I think that would be for another GB, if I understand this correctly, WWII continues into '46 (possible beyond) so all the ""Allied"" powers were still fighting the Axis

Some no non sense questions:
Is Soviet Union considered Allied?
Can Spanish Republic (had it won spanish civil war, and then being attacked by Germany, after occuping France) be considered allied in an alternate history?
I assume that German captured or copied gear is allowed. No?
Thanks.

According to Rule number 1 and 6, yes.

Mmmm.... rule N°.6, cool, captured FW 190s being flown against Japan by the RAAF.

It can range from prototypes that never made service to the very odd and eclectic sci fi alternate histories.
Is a civilian subject possible? (what-if in 1946 as 1939-45 were years of peace?) ???

Well I kind of think that the premise is the war does happen, it just lasts longer. But like I said. I am pretty relaxed. if you want to do something like that, I'll allow it.
You can do civilian stuff, just make sure its connected to the subject

On a similar note I have an P-82 I started quite some time ago. Just a bit of painting and a few parts glued together. Would that be ok?
