Thanks guys. I went with the plastic vs. PE props. There are four options all together - two plastic props with different blade counts and two PE equivalents. It is a bit like a holiday; all I added was some slight weathering (which isn't visible in the pictures, neither are the two hull colors). There are two microscopic PE bitts at the top of the sail and I didn't loose either one! I may add a Northstar figure to the observation area. Even though this is a fairly small boat, it's not as small as it appears. It's about 70% the length of a Soviet Alpha class sub.
Craig, I'd love to see what you do with the SYNS Dr. Sivanna! I'm sure the reactor will only be used to warm food...
