Hi guys
A friend of mine sen me this:
A really cool example of a 3d UV resin printing.
The scale looks like 1/10, or something similar.
Since painting figures in a big scale like this is beyond my painting skills, if had chosen a traditional approach,
the final result would be embarrassing, to say the least :)
So I chose a minimalist monochromatic approach, with an oil wash over a metallic base paint.
Before the painting I invested a few minutes in preparing the bust (a very light sanding in some key points).
Just to show another example of the current possibilities this technology, using a home printer (low end of the price range) and the cheapest resin available.
Not bad, I would say :)
Thanks for watching!
