Looking for one or two 1/100 F-105 fuselages and wings (the wings 'cause I need the intakes).  They are to be used in fabricating a 1/144 Republic AP-75, their LRI entry.

Okay, I'm looking for a couple 1/100 F-105 fuselages and intakes.  I want to do a 1/144 AP-75 and those would be ideal.

Did anybody ever do the F-105 in 1/100?

According to the PAK-20 book, yes.  Otaki did one, they also did a 1/116 one too. Revell did one and so did Tamiya (reboxed by Ben Hobby). And Marusan did a 1/105 one, (reboxed by UPC)

Tamiya didn't inclue the F-105 in their last re-issue of 1/100th stuff, so it's still rare: the last one I saw was going for collector's prices.

Wouldn't the intakes be integral with the wings on so small a model? By the time you've got the fuselages and wings, you might as well have the whole things.

The Ben Hobby ones are more easily found I think, they've taken over the moulds from what I read a short while ago.

Found this on the internet;
