Start of the newest liner for the Martian Interstellar Shipping Company otherwise known as the Red Star Line.

Doesn't look like much right now, but my psychologist suggested actually starting on this project would be good for me.  Hull is a 1/400 Titanic with the bow and stern lopped off and engines from a 1/144 Energia.

Your psychologist may just be certifiably insane, you know that, right? ;)

I've got no idea where this is going except interstellar.

Will watch with interest,

So far the engines have been removed, LEDs added and engines reattached.

Those LEDs in the engines look like they'd make any special effects master proud!

 thanks fellas.

It was hoped that today would see a lot more work done after the shutdown brought about by much to and froing between the Yard and the Design Department, however Warehousing was completely wrong in their assurances that plenty of plasteel was available.  So construction has once again stopped until the Purchasing Office can rectify that problem.  The main circuitry routes, however have been completed and just requires the joining of the final sub-circuits once more of the superstructure is in place.

Current pic of the Centauria and in the background the incomplete hull of a new Red Star freighter that should enter service around the same time as the Centauria, (maybe, hopefully).

Those intra-departmental problems you encountered sound all too familiar...  :-\

Sub hulls make great zeppelins and spaceships! I've got two halves with awful piping down the sides that will look right at home crossing the stars.
