This build was sitting on the back of my head for a while. But a sudden injection of modelling mojo got me going so I am going to get it done before Friday.

Update: Making great progress. Almost done so I should make the GB deadline.

lovely
any aircraft can be improved by fitting floats (or a hull)
is it from a Kingfisher?

Thanks. Yes, the floats are from the same vintage Airfix OS2U Kingfisher. The Kingfisher kit also comes with wheels so I can still build it into something.

It looks like a natural real-time project :)

Definitely a "Sure they didn't already do that?" build. Looks good! :)

Looking like a million bucks, Mr Gimper!
I can't wait for final roll float out!

It sure is and using a SEAC scheme was truly inspired!

How to say this....... Looking like Waterbuffalo MK.I should/would and like a convincing new low in Brewster Buffalo series performance carrying around those floats !

Carl,
That is a very smart looking conversion you have created with the Buffalo on floats. Could see that as a component of the cruiser or battleship aircraft detachment performing scouting and barrier patrols around the battle group.

sort of like taking the rather average performance of the Blackburn Roc even lower by putting floats on that.
Does not take away from a great build in way though.

Indeed the model build is fine ("Looking like Waterbuffalo MK.I should/would.") :)
