I always like the Vanguard. Very nice upgrade.
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

I would possibly have gone with similar engines as the R7V-2:

Why not inserting engines in horizontal planes? A different kind of twin DC-10.

Equally inspired in BAE Dominie https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Aerospace_BAe_125 and MD-220 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonnell_119  < I love this last. 8)

Engines are smaller high derivation turbofans.

In first case tail fin is in original angle, in second one is 15º less inclined.

Nice!!  Engines the equivalent of the TFE331/F109 derivative of the TPE331 (i.e. a turbofan derivative of a turboprop core)?

Love the look of the Britannia/727 blend ... but not sure what the prop wake would do to air entering Numbers 1 and 3  :o

Maybe a development where the Proteus turboprops are the main powerplants and a single, central jet engine was a booster?
