Mind you, the Walrus in Coastal Command colours has the potential to trip up a few JMN's. ;)

How about an Israeli one or even a RAF one but in colours similar to the Lysander below for SOE missions?

The Lysander is a hard one, I just can't help liking it though I know it was in actual fact an abomination, the epitome of the RAFs complete miss understanding of the army's needs.

Great stuff! Love the idea of an SOE Walrus  :)

Sad but true, though quite bizarre when you look at aircraft such as the Hawker Hector etc. of just a few years earlier, which was basically a modified, high performance, light bomber.  Hawker Henley may have been a better basis, or even a (shock horror) Blackburn Skua.

CiTrus90, for aesthetic purposes, can I request that your RAAF  F-5E's and RF-5E's be placed on the same grey background as you have done with your F-4E Phantom II's?  :P

Could I also request your profile talents for some profiles of the CAC CA-31, in both single and two-seat configurations?
If able and willing, could I request some of these to be in RAAF Citizen Air Force Squadrons colours, markings and a variety of weapons configurations (for my 'Alternative ADF ORBAT' backstory I'm working on!). Could these be in the camouflage Mirage IIIO 1970's and F/A-18A/B 1980's schemes?

Thanks for the consideration

ascetics

Aesthetics, perhaps, mate? ;)

ascetic (əˈsɛtɪk/); noun; plural noun: ascetics - a person who follows an ascetic life.
synonyms:   abstainer, recluse, hermit, solitary, anchorite, anchoress, celibate, puritan, nun, monk

aesthetics (iːsˈθɛtɪks,ɛs-/); noun; noun: aesthetics; noun: esthetics - a set of principles concerned with the nature and appreciation of beauty; the branch of philosophy which deals with questions of beauty and artistic taste.

Of course, ascetic could be applied to some here to some extent (myself included). :)

Sorry, mate, but I've had to correct that word twice before over the last few days for my daughter & my wife. It was a reflex action. :-[

And keeping up with the IAF theme:

I suppose it's a good thing I had already been working on it (at least on the twin seater) ;D

I'm not really satisfied by what I came up with, to be honest. I used the only two side views I've found on the net, and then re-traced everything, adding some details here and there.

It's not at all accurate.

I compared it with the few photos of the mockup available (I suppose they were all taken by our very own GTX_Admin), and there are things that simply do not match up with any side view. I tried to use the pics as a basis to start my own lineart, but then again, the mockup is disassembled and I'd need a clear shot from the side perpendicular to the aircraft (otherwise I'm not able to correct for distortions due to the angle from where the pics where taken).

I'd like to make a better effort, but this is only what I can do at the moment.

If you can provide some pictures as references for me to use (for squadron markings too), sure.

Cheers!

The black Israeli Viper is gorgeous!! Was just thinking yesterday how a israeli Viper would look in the 1967 silver scheme.

We are on different pages of the same book!
