Thanks! The Jaguar was a request, and when I investigated, I found out that it was nearly a reality as one prototype - Jaguar M was built for the French Navy...
If they had gone with upgraded Adours, it might have stood a chance against the Dassault "full court press" for the Super Etendard instead.  I still say I'd love to see a developed Jaguar M with an Agave radar in the nose like some of the Indian Jaguars have radar noses.

Newly registered, absolutely love your profiles, can I be a bit cheeky and ask if it's possible to do a few using armoured vehicle camouflage schemes? Something like a JU-87 in panzer 3 colour, a Bf-109 in Germany "ambush" scheme or even a Spitfire in British N/Africa scheme?

I actually love the BAE 146 and think its a shame the tactical transport version never took off as it would have made a very interesting multirole platform.

I also like the Jaguar M, if I remember correctly it flew in the late 60s and was obviously postulated before then which means a little bit of vision could have seen them flying with the RN FAA from Hermes and Victorious into the 80s or possibly even the 90s.  Initially as an attack aircraft but then developed along the lines of the Sea Harrier FRS1 and FA2 i.e. BVR radar AMRAAM, Sea Eagle etc.

I love the LAPD AH-64D; perhaps an A-10 for the LA County Fire Department for fighting large fires?

Hi Clave,

Nice run of profiles.  In your next set, could you please do a Vulcan in PLAAF colors?

Thanks,

CPT Mike

I like the JAL Singapore, but isn't it rather heavily armed for an airliner?

Now you remind me of wanting to see a PLAAF B-52 as an excuse for ROCAF F-14 or F-15 what-if to exist.

Clave
I am a great fan of your work and took the liberty of introducing your Fireflash airliners to the DAC Wings Forum of collectors who have a What if thread

http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/what-if/

Growing up in the 60s I was very keen on the Anderson guest vehicles such as Fireflash. With later knowledge it was clear how influenced he was by 50s technology. Accordingly I think Fireflash would look good in any of the three 50s BOAC liveries.  For some reason (Copyright) BOAC became BAOC in the logos on the London Airport buildings and the Matchbox trucks.  Would be great if you could try the three looks on the big bird.  Of course the other airline that is so of this period is Pan American. I think Air Terrainean is a sort of play on Pan American as these shows were aimed at the big US TV market, :)

That 337 looks sharp and really needs to be done from a military O-2A kit (the O-2B was psychological ops aircraft, sometimes called a "bullshit bomber").  If memory serves me correctly, the O-2A had those hardpoints under the wing.  Be interesting to see that one in some other COIN operation markings.

The Australian Army Skymaster really was a could have been that I'm surprised didn't actually happen as a supplement to the other types in service during Vietnam.  As always, love your work and look forward to what you have in store for us in the future.
