The BT-2-5-7 series (and Christie suspension tanks) are among my favorite 1930's vehicles! Are you going to use treads or wheels?

Treads, definitely - I think the BT looks a little weird in wheeled mode. Probably not something I should worry too much about given my usual aethetic.... ;)

Is to be serving  the people being my highest reward ;)

If I had it to do over again, I would have gone a little slower. Misinterpreting the placement of the front idler arm
in the instructions led to a lesss than perfect fit for the tracks, which I also should have assembled separately.
It still needs the prop, national insignia, and some dust, but it's just about done.

Oooooohhhh it looks even more menacing in that People's Assault Green #6742!

I'd have no idea about the tracks if you hadn't mentioned it. They look good to me!

As does the rest of this marvel!

I can think of no better way to defend the Great Soviet proletariat from the greedy capitalists from running-dog west!

Yet again vast superiority of Socialist design is demonstrated!

It looks good! I didn't realize the BT series was that small (or that the autogyro was that big). It almost looks like it could carry the tank (or at least give it a boost in speed).

Thanks! The helicopter ( the second engine powers the rotors ) is even bigger than it seems. I was originally going to just build the RBT and leave it at that, but sorting through a box of parts I found an old bagged Williams
Bothers kit of a Cierva autogyro...in 1/87th! ( I think it must have been intended for railroad modelers ). That and some bits from the early Hasegawa Zero ( three different cowls, three engines and they're usual just a three to five dollars at shows make it attractive as parts source ) turned it into the K portion of the KT (Krylia Tank or Flying Tank ). It is a touch anachronistic - Antonov's attempt to turn the T- 60 into a glider dates from almost a decade after the RBT, but Whiffing, nyet? ;).

I got back to work on the Iron WIng over the weekend, spraying the props and Reaktor with alclad, and working on the turrets -should be some pictures thsi next weekend. Thanks again for looking in.
