Title: Apollo 11 Tribute - Tranquility Base +2

since I have not been real active on the boards of late and as a tribute to the Apollo 11 Crew, I was planning to re-up the Tranquility Base Lunar module descent stage I did a couple of years back.

Dragon 1/48 Apollo 11 Lunar Module kit. Lots of compromises with the kit versus the real thing and at best "had a go" at the equipment modules.
Replaced a lot of the foil with the cake decorating foil to have a punt at getting the "blasted off" look for the kapton foil, which I am pretty sure and somewhat verified by the later video of the Ascent stage launch lift off was blown everywhere.

May have been on the boards before, cannot remember. Cannot remember lots of stuff these days ;)
