So I got my Su-27SM kits, still wasn't sure what to do with the second one, and when I inspect the pieces I see there's a deep sink-mark in the headrest for one of the K-36DM seats. "Okay, just install the pilot, it won't be visible", I thought.
Then after painting up both pits in standard Flanker colors, I screwed up one of the instrument panel decals with Mr Mark Softner. Wasn't a complete disaster, the decal was still *there*, just distorted. "All right, no one will be looking at that part anyway once the thing is assembled, especially if the pilot is in there and the canopy closed."
And then when I'm assembling the damned seat, one of the armrests fails to separate from my finger while it was over the table, and the damned part lands on my floor. "Screw this, where are my F-22 leftovers?"
Looks like plan "F-27" is a go, whether I'd intended it seriously or not. Also, going to have to figure out which of the bang seats in my collection will be easiest to fit into the cockpit, the Revell ACES-II seat looks a little long, the front edge of the seat ends up interfering with the control stick. Maybe use the sidestick from the F-22?
